Designing and building any robot is only limited by your imagination. There is always a way to execute an idea.
So to do chores around the house we have robots (like the Roomba) that does your hoovering, grass cutting, ironing, wash floors, etc.
If you’re thinking more along the lines of a robot butler there are some companies out there that do have some solutions. (Google Ventures robot delivery butler https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiZj7LTMjzs)

These robots would have to have sensors installed to know distance, image processing (to know what they’re looking at), sound processing (to hear and understand commands), and possibly have a network like WiFi or Bluetooth systems so they can get updates from other technology in the house.
Check out companies like Boston Dynamics (https://www.bostondynamics.com/) theyre doing really cool stuff that I’m sure you and your peers will be using in the future

Hope that answers your question. Keep ’em coming 🙂
